crap machine number 2: Jock (Mr M’s dog and keeper of his heart)
Mr M was walking him down the street one day when 2 blokes were sitting out front of a house having a beer. One called over to him, ” Hey mate , bet that’s the missus dog!” . It got very ugly (he’s Scottish).
The dog or Mr. M? I had just wished I had my camera with me when my pup went out to pee. His little tracks in the snow at night were cute.

When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth.

The auto industry crash is sending the Detroit music scene into a tailspin. According to Detroit-based musicians, it’s not just the Big Three auto companies that need a bailout—musicians are also taking a hit.
“With thousands of job losses, who do you think is coming out to see shows?” says Brian Vander Ark, former lead singer of The Verve Pipe. “I watched the Senate hearings; these executives all want a golden parachute. It’s difficult to get people to buy tickets now, and that has everything to do with the auto industry.”

1968 American Motors GT — I’m trying to picture in my mind who would drive this beast. Spicoli is a thought but it’s a little too old.
hoarr , you’re such a whore! (joking, of course) and yes, you ‘nailed it.’

1968 American Motors GT — I’m trying to picture in my mind who would drive this beast. Spicoli is a thought but it’s a little too old. Here’s the revelation that I had in my mind:
this car rambles along; with a rowdy quartet of Willie Nelson (driver), Levon Helm (shotgun), Ryan Adams and Hayes Carll (crammed in back); through West Texas (say McAllen) with the quartet singing in-the-moment-Texas-dust songs and covers of Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan and Hank Williams songs.
That’s who, what, and where I see in this car. You provide the when and why, if you wish.
When? Tomorrow, if there’s room for me. Why? Because we can.

myspace bans projectplaylist, facebook defies same RIAA request
Pain in the arse that, I’ve got a PP account and I enjoyed putting together playlists for my Myspace page, and I’d just done a couple of new ones, the sods!
Myspace doesn’t do itself any favours with the new Myspace Music players, which are quite often screwed, or they don’t show up, or else they take bloody ages to eventually appear on a band’s page, and you just give up in the end.
I’m surprised Facebook took a stance, shame I can’t stand going on that bloody site, though…
Some people have tried to get me to go on facebook but some of the “features” I’ve heard they have don’t sound too appealing to me.

This 16mm short film, Skater Dater, released in 1965 is an all time classic in the history of skateboarding and even short films.
Noel Black’s first project after graduate film school at UCLA was writing and directing Skater Dater, a short subject cinematic romance without dialogue, which used only music and sound effects to advance its plot. It won nine international film awards. In 1966, it was nominated for an “Oscar”, and won the “Golden Palm” for best short film at the “Cannes Film Festival”.
Written and directed by Noel Black and produced by Marshal Backlar. Scenes were shot in Cypress St., Lomita, Long Beach, Malaga Cove Plaza, Palos Verdes, and Torrance, California.
