Someone that I don’t follow reposted the “look honey, another pro-lifer for war” photo and wrote something to the effect of wanting to punch people in the face who disrespect the military. For one, I think that’s funny as hell because it’s a violent statement (pro-war/violence) and two, I don’t have any disrespect for people in the military per se, but I do disrespect governments that attempt to use war as a solution.

You make a rare political statement and look where it gets you. Misunderstood.

Figures. I just look at it as sometimes people get heated and add whatever their [strong] opinions might be without taking time to understand it first. But whatevs.

I don’t mean to speak for them, but they told me that it had nothing to do with me or, presumably, you. The image simply reminded them of a specific, individual past experience. You should check with them, before assuming their intent. They do have comments on their blog, which is how I clarified things.

I can’t imagine why anyone would fill their home with books they haven’t read just for show, that’s absurd. I never once thought RA hadn’t read the books he owns, I find it odd that someone would suggest so.

i never said it was for show. i just know that some people buy books because they are interested in them at the time of purchase and just never get around to them, or never finish them. that’s all i meant. besides, he has a huge amount of books, it doesn’t seems absurd to me to assume he hasn’t read every single one.
