sarazucker:back in 1987, pop artist keith haring took a magic marker to a skateboard, and decorated it with his trademark characters. last week, that same skateboard sold for $16,250 at phillips de pury. also on the auction block were works from such artists as ed templeton, shepard fairey, kaws, and cindy sherman.haring’s skateboard ended up being the third highest selling item.
