I wish

I had a golden childhood, supportive parents, and hadn’t made mistakes that in my head I know how to fix but keep repeating. I wish I believed.

It’s sad how many great ideas there are in the world by people who don’t have the resources to achieve them. I feel that there are a lot of lives wasted in the machine of life, resigned to spending their days working for someone elses’ agenda. I think this generation has been jipped and I really hope there is an afterlife because this, this cannot be all there is.

Sadly, i think this has always been the case.

It may actually be worse in better economic times.

I don’t know how it could be worse in better economic times, depending on what’s feeding that economy, I suppose, but right now education is bad, jobs are scarce, businesses are closing, and people are losing their homes, if they have a home to begin with, drug use is destroying communities and I could go on to say some controversial things but I won’t.

“Dear Mr. Rossellini, I saw your films “Open City” and “Paisan,” and I enjoyed them very much. If you need a Swedish actress who speaks English very well, who has not forgotten her German, who is not very understandable in French, and who in Italian knows only ‘ti amo,’ I am ready to come and make a film with you.” — Ingrid Bergman’s letter to Roberto Rossellini (via misswallflower) (via fairphantom) (via goodolddays)
